Role Description The Quality Assurance Associate shall be responsible for providing QA support of Nutritional and Dietary Supplement products at external (contract) manufacturing sites engaged in the production of Nutritional and Dietary Supplements.

You Are At

UST , the role involves:

Act as primary point of contact with the EM site(s).

Additional responsibilities may entail: Deviation, OOS, and Non‑Conformance situation root cause analysis and investigations.

Review first article of inspection, review labels.

Writing reports.

Potential participation on new product development teams, including coordination with Technical Transfer team, to ensure that all projects meet specified QA launch requirements and timelines.

Review of specifications and validation documentation related to base business projects and new product introductions.

Routine interaction with internal business partners and external manufacturing sites, in support of commercialization and documentation readiness.

Troubleshoot quality problems, provide thorough and practical assistance in the resolution of process/product non‑conformance events, and assist in the development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence, leveraging Quality Systems.

Review of process/product‑related documentation.

What You Need

Education: Bachelor’s in Chemistry or any related field.

QA experience strongly preferred in the Nutritionals and Dietary Supplement industry, or potentially the Food industry with relevant experience.

Experience in a GMP facility.

4‑5 years of experience.

Location Remote

Compensation Range $80,000-$120,000

Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part‑time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) plan with employer matching. Full‑time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. Part‑time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year.
