About Our EMS Network Hunter’s Ambulance Service is a licensed commercial ambulance company owned and operated by Hartford HealthCare Emergency Medical Services. The company operates six locations across central and southern Connecticut and provides both emergency and non‑emergency medical care to facilities and communities throughout the state. Your Role

Verifying patient insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility, and deductibles.

Interact with patient insurance companies to obtain necessary information.

Update insurance and patient information in the system as necessary.

Navigate insurance company websites and online tools to obtain and confirm details of coverage.

Answer phone calls, take payments (customer service).

Comply with all privacy and confidentiality rules & regulations. (HIPAA)

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum 1 year medical or ambulance billing work experience and ICD coding.
