MTSI is seeking an

Acquisition Project Manager . This position provides direct acquisition program and management support as a key team member supporting USAF Weapons Systems Program Office (SPO) activities, specifically the program Materiel Leader and branch chief engineer, on Eglin AFB, FL. The successful candidate will interface and coordinate with multiple government leads and prime and other contractors within the USAF AFMC AFLCMC Program Office and enterprise. Journeyman to potentially senior level program management tasking is expected.

Responsibilities

Work with Government Acquisition and Prime Contractor teams in the contracting for and execution of system development efforts during the TMRR and EMD phases of traditional and non-traditional systems acquisition programs. Support preparation for program milestone decisions.

Provide consultation and leadership in program PMRs, IPTs and Working Groups for the materiel leader as needed and directed.

Review and provide approval or acceptance recommendations for contract deliverables from prime contractors.

Oversee execution performance for government systems acquisition contracts.

Required Qualifications

3-10 years of acquisition program management (and/or other acquisition-related areas) in the DoD Acquisition Community or with a DoD Contractor.

Experience working in classified environments.

Bachelor's degree or higher in management or business required.

Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with senior military and government leadership.

Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications

Operational military experience.

Management experience.

Clearance Requirements

TS/SCI clearance required.
