Job Description
Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
Assess patients’ conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
Qualifications
Associate's of Nursing (Required)
Bachelor's of Nursing
Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) – EV Accredited
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – RQI
Basic Life Support (BLS) – CPR – RQI
Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN)
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
Certified RN Infusion (CRNI)
Chemotherapy Certificate (CHEMO)
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (CEFM)
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
Medical Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (MEDSURG-BC)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – and Advanced NRP-A
Neonatal Resuscitation Program – Advanced (NRP-A)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
