Job Overview
Part‑time Associate – 726 Tustin (Smart & Final store operations).
Pay: $16.50/hr.
Location: 1114 Irvine Blvd, Tustin, CA 92780, United States.
Responsibilities Reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, including but not limited to:
Maintain and stock assigned store section, order and receive merchandise, ensure proper pricing, check product dates, set up displays, review invoices for accuracy.
Clean and maintain sanitation standards throughout store and parking lot.
Operate cash register, receive payments, process refunds, verify eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, load purchases into vehicles when requested.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties, record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
Qualifications
Read and write English; interact with public and coworkers.
Read and comprehend instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds; frequently up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 60 pounds.
It would be a plus if you have:
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
