Job Description
Collaborate with the project team to identify the contract baseline, including terms and conditions, specifications, drawings, estimate, proposal, schedule, and other documents incorporated in the contract
Participate in project related meetings, work closely with Construction, Engineering, Contracts and Material Management, and Project Controls
Develop and administer a Key Prime Deliverables Schedule
Assist in reviewing or writing formal correspondence to Clients to ensure contract compliance
Assist in developing the Contract Summary and updating throughout the project
Assist in the interpretation of the prime contract terms and conditions; prepare an analysis of the prime contract general and special terms and conditions to highlight areas of potential risk such as ambiguities, omissions, and conflicts; as work proceeds, assist the Project Manager in mitigating those risks that arise; closely monitor and support remedial actions as necessary and recommend appropriate tradeoffs to the Project Manager

Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

May be required to assist the Project Contract Manager
Preferred Qualifications
Accredited degree or Paralegal degree or a Legal Administration degree or global equivalent
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Self starter and motivated with an ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Courses or experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning, and scheduling
Working knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices; applicable Fluor Practices
Excellent written and oral communication skills
