Marketing Business Manager (Gym Manager)
We are seeking an accomplished and versatile Marketing Business Manager to oversee and enhance the operations of our gym. This role is multifaceted, involving marketing, staff management, membership sales, guest relations, and potentially property‑management responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership skills, marketing expertise, and a background commensurate with this skillset.
Responsibilities
Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the gym.
Execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, print advertising, and local outreach.
Collaborate with marketing agencies, graphic designers, and content creators to produce compelling promotional materials.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to refine marketing approaches.
Drive promotion of gym memberships.
Conduct facility tours for potential new members.
Gym Operations:
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the gym, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Manage on‑site employees, including trainers, front desk staff, maintenance, and cleaning personnel.
Uphold operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent service delivery.
Address and resolve customer concerns, feedback, or issues promptly.
Maintain gym equipment, facilities, and amenities to high standards.
Maintain detailed records of member information, payments, and attendance.
Greet and assist gym guests, providing information about gym services, amenities, and membership packages.
Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages members to achieve their fitness goals.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, offering accurate and helpful information.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Proven experience in marketing, gym management, sales, or related roles.
Strong leadership and management abilities, with a history of effectively leading and motivating teams.
Proficiency in marketing tools, social media platforms, and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer‑centric approach.
Passion for fitness, wellness, and customer service.
