Description and Requirements We are currently seeking an experienced manager to drive Lenovo's onsite search strategy for 35 direct countries and nearly 90 total countries. This role would be part of a larger worldwide eCommerce team responsible for delivering new features to support the Lenovo.com business. This person will be responsible for leading a team focused on defining and implementing a search strategy, coordinating with peer teams to deliver features and operationalizing the day to day tasks. They should have a clear understanding of search trends across the industry and be forward thinking on how to leverage new technology to continually optimize the search experience. The site search manager will work with Lenovo business teams, Digital Transformation, IT, 3rd-party vendors, and other stakeholders to define, solution and implement new capabilities on the Lenovo search platform globally.

Job Responsibilities

Manage a global team of 10+ people to deliver an exceptional search experience across 35 direct countries and 50+ indirect countries

Explore new eCommerce capabilities based on industry trends and business needs

Drive an innovative search strategy that differentiates Lenovo from our competitors

Demonstrate clear understanding of AI, machine learning and conversational search to drive an innovative search platform

Work with Lenovo business stakeholders to understand and index search data

Work closely with business stakeholders to quantify business impact and business case for new capabilities

Coordinate with user experience team to think creatively about how results are displayed and ensuring relevant results

Partner with SEO team to maintain data and understand requirements

Collaborate with 3rd-party providers, Lenovo DT/IT, and other supporting teams to understand process impacts and estimate costs

Data focused analysis to ensure quality and comprehensive indexing

Lead cadence calls with stakeholders and executives to communicate status, ensure that deliverables are on schedule, and open issues are being properly addressed

Optimize results and experience around established business and success metrics (e.g. customer satisfaction, content match, and revenue) with the analytics team and monitor ROI

Assess processes to support search operations and identify ways to optimize and scale

Report to executives on progress toward KPIs, trends, and projects

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred

10 years of experience in eCommerce site search

5+ years of people management experience

Knowledge of JIRA, Adobe Analytics

Desired Skills

Strong leadership skills necessary to manage a global team

Experience in constructing complex solutions and documenting requirements

Experience communicating/advocating for projects with executives

Experience working in a collaborative and energetic team environment

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills; deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced e-business environment

Self-directed and proactive

Ability to work cross-functionally in order to achieve desired results, on time

Able to work across various time zones; off-hours and long hours as needed

A clear sense of accountability & ownership

Effectively builds & delivers presentations to all levels of management
