Job Summary: Performs duties as assigned by the Marketing and Communications Director, including, but not limited to, the design and production of high-quality graphic and multimedia content for internal and external audiences as a member of the Creative Team within the Marketing and Communications Department. This position supports visual communication efforts across health system initiatives, locations, services, campaigns, and events.

Under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Director and senior creative staff, the designer assists with the creation of print, digital, and multimedia materials, applying foundational principles of layout, typography, branding, motion, and visual storytelling to ensure accurate messaging and brand consistency.

Design and production responsibilities may include print and digital graphics, social media content, basic motion graphics, video editing, photography, presentations, and other multimedia assets. The designer prepares and delivers artwork for use across websites, social media, email, print publications, outdoor advertising, and internal communications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to established brand standards.

The Graphic & Multimedia Designer collaborates with members of the Creative Team, marketing staff, communications staff, and external vendors to support campaigns, events, and day-to-day creative needs. This role also assists with maintaining organized creative files and assets and follows established workflows, processes, and timelines.

Maintains organized management of creative and multimedia files and assets.

Qualifications: Education/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, and introductory experience with After Effects and/or Premiere Pro.

Basic understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling across print and digital media.

Interest in developing skills in motion graphics, video, and multimedia design.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.

Work Experience:

2 years of professional or internship experience in graphic design, multimedia design, or a related field.

Experience in a healthcare, corporate, or agency environment is a plus but not required.
