Overview
This Nurse Practitioner position requires one day a week at the Williamsburg clinic and one day a week in Richmond. The role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of complex health problems while maintaining wellness and providing comfort. Licensure & Certification
Current RN licensure in Virginia NP licensure in the specialty area in Virginia Prescriptive authority when required Experience & Education
Minimum of two (2) years experience as an RN (required) Academic health care experience (preferred) Two (2) years within the specialty practice area (preferred) Advanced Practice Nursing Role or Clinical Leadership Role experience (preferred) Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program specific to area of practice (required) Physical & Mental Requirements
Physical: Lifting 50-100 lbs. Exposure to potentially hazardous and infectious substances. Activities: Prolonged standing, Frequent bending, Walking, Climbing, Reaching overhead and repetitive. Mental/Sensory: Strong recall, Reasoning, Problem solving, Hearing, Speaking clearly, Writing legibly, Reading, Logical thinking. Emotional: Fast pace environment, Steady pace, Able to handle multiple priorities, Frequent intense customer interactions, Noisy environment, Able to adapt to frequent change. EEO Statement
