Position Overview
Position: Admissions Advisor (College Admissions - Student Advisor). Location: Orchard Park, NY. Employer: Bryant & Stratton College. Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent. Hours: Mon–Fri, ability to work some evenings and Saturdays. Reports to: Admissions Manager. Position Summary
This sales position is responsible for the recruitment and retention of qualified online students through consultative, needs‑based selling in a call center environment. The Admissions Advisor builds long‑term relationships to improve lead conversion, increase enrollment, and maintain retention rates. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Meet and maintain conversion metrics dictated by projected budgetary enrollment. Interview and enroll qualified students through phone, email, chat, and other electronic methods, delivering a value‑based enrollment experience. Manage the enrollment process ensuring admissions requirements, paperwork and deadlines are met, and communicate the process to students. Facilitate interdepartmental communication with Financial Aid, coordinating enrollment activities and maintaining student experience. Provide excellent customer service, support retention, generate referrals and leads from internal and external sources. Prepare and maintain accurate records in the CRM database and complete paperwork in a timely manner. Qualifications
Associate’s Degree required. 1–2 years of sales experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office and the Internet. Strong phone skills. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous call center experience. Physical Demands And Work Environment
Standing or sitting in a stationary position, occasional lifting up to 10 lbs, use of computer technology, hearing and conveying information. Compensation
Starting Salary: $46,000 per year ($22.12 per hour). Role eligible for overtime. EEO Statement
