Job Overview Solvents & Petroleum Service, Inc. (SPS) is seeking a senior‑level, results‑driven Environmental Sales Executive to grow our hazardous and non‑hazardous waste business across New York and parts of the Northeast. This is a business development–focused ("hunter") role for an experienced environmental sales professional.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and close new business in hazardous and non‑hazardous waste services
Sell across SPS capabilities including solvents, wastewater, TSDF services, consolidation, and recycling
Build and manage a strong pipeline through prospecting, referrals, and strategic networking
Provide consultative solutions to customers navigating RCRA, DOT, and state regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with operations to ensure service feasibility and profitability
Manage territory performance, pipeline, and forecasts with light CRM discipline
Qualifications – Required
5+ years of B2B sales experience in environmental services, waste management, industrial services, or chemicals
Proven success in new business development
Working knowledge of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste streams
Ability to sell complex, regulated services
Preferred Experience
TSDF, lab pack, wastewater, solvents, or industrial cleaning experience
Existing regional customer relationships
Self‑directed, high‑accountability work style
