Job Overview As an LPN you will work under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing (DON) to provide direct patient/resident care, coordinate and evaluate care plans, supervise nursing assistants, and maintain a safe and quality-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Carry out daily nursing care for assigned residents/patients, including medication administration, feeding, oxygen therapy, and use of medical equipment.
Coordinate, implement, and evaluate residents’ care plans in collaboration with the RN team.
Supervise nursing assistants and ensure tasks are performed safely and to standards.
Monitor and maintain the living environment for resident/patient safety.
Follow all center policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Required Education & Experience
Licensed in the state as an LPN.
Current CPR certification.
Proficiency with nursing supplies and equipment (e.g., feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart).
Ability to calculate drug dosages accurately.
Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
Strong communication skills; able to interact positively with residents, families, staff, and community members.
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn company applications.
