One of our residential programs located in Queensbury, NY has a part‑time 32‑hour Direct Support Professional (DSP) position available. The schedule for this position is Saturday 9am‑9pm, Thursday 2pm‑10pm, & Friday 9:30am‑10pm*. (*denotes a 30‑minute daily unpaid lunch break.) The rate of pay is $20.00/hour + differentials, and this is an hourly position. DSPs provide care and support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping with daily routines such as getting ready, cooking, cleaning, administering medications, and enjoying community activities together. Some support may also involve personal care such as toileting, lifting/transferring, or assisting with medical needs (e.g., G‑tube care). It’s meaningful work that makes a real difference—while having fun along the way!
Qualifications
18 years of age or older
Have a valid driver’s license
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
No experience necessary
