About the role
HealthFitness is looking for a part-time, 25 hpw, Front Desk Attendant to join the fitness team at our client site located in Detroit, MI. In this position, you will greet, check-in and assist customers; provide program information, services, membership and ensure the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction. Schedule: 25 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 2:00-8:30 pm Every other Saturday 9:00am - 2:30pm Greet, check-in and assist customers. Provides program information, services, membership and ensures the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction. Key Accountabilities
Greeting, checking-in and assisting customers, provide program information services and membership information. Efficiently responds to client and participant requests, comments or concerns and brings issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
Assist with all member service desk administration and processes, answer phones, and process membership enrollments. Collects membership fees and performs related recordkeeping.
Participates in membership drives to acquire new participants and enroll new participants.
Laundry and locker rooms services.
Maintains and updates participant and facility policies as appropriate. Educate participants on policies and procedures.
Participate in internal programs and special events.
Opening and/or closing duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
Previous customer service experience a plus.
Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required by start date.
Compensation: $13.50-$15.50 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
