Location Topeka Presbyterian Manor, Topeka, KS
Compensation Starting at $33.00 an hour with shift and weekend differential under our Premium Pay Plan. Additional pay commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities A Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long‑term care. The RN advances resident‑first care, promotes a home‑like setting, and models person‑centered care.
Qualifications / Education
Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
Must possess a current active license to practice as an RN in this state.
Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long‑term care community, or other related health‑care facility and geriatric nursing experience preferred.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long‑term care.
