RN (Selma) PACU, Part Time, 8-Hour Day Shift – Adventist Health Location:

Selma, California, central San Joaquin Valley. Adventist Health Selma has served the Central Valley since 1999, providing care through a 57‑bed acute‑care hospital and six local medical offices.

Job Summary:

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities, coordinates care with other disciplines, and utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Experience:

Preferred

Acute‑care facility experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice:

Required

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:

Required

Department Specific Licenses/Certifications:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent:

Required

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent:

Required

Essential Functions:

Collects relevant data pertaining to the patient’s health or situation, analyzes assessment data for diagnosis and care issues, develops a plan of care, implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, healing, humane, and caring care, and provides learning opportunities for all stakeholders.

Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
