Overview Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling the performance of Patient Nutrition Representatives and Patient Nutrition Assistants to include fostering of guest relations and adherence to policies and procedures. Ensures timely, quality foodservice to customers. Knowledge of computerized diet office software systems.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, speak, write, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Five years of experience in foodservice, with one year in a health care setting preferred.
One-year supervisory experience preferred.
Familiarity with management techniques.
Initiative and judgment in dealing with a variety of employees and visitors.
Knowledge of sanitary and safety regulations.
Computer use.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose. A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.
