Registered Nurse (RN) - $10k Sign-On
– Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Shifts: Days 7:00 am–7:00 pm; Nights 7:00 pm–7:00 am.
$10,000 sign‑on bonus available for full‑time candidates.

Essential Functions
Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioural health needs.
Develop and implement nursing care plans.
Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about health conditions.
Provide nursing care within the scope of the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribe them appropriately.
Continuously assess patient status and document pertinent information.
Notify physicians of significant changes such as detox difficulties, medical emergencies, or medication status changes.
Complete initial nursing treatment plans upon admission and ensure they address assessed needs.
Use universal precautions during direct patient care.
Accurately administer medications and document controlled‑substance counts.
Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately.
Build therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries and rational detachment.
Coordinate unit activities as directed.
Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, co‑workers, and others involved in inpatient treatment.
Education and Experience
Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
Current RN licence in the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing.
One year of nursing experience (psychiatric, mental, behavioural, or substance‑use nursing experience a plus).
CPR and de‑escalation and restraint certification (training provided).
First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
