Responsibilities

Collaborate with healthcare providers/members to optimize member benefits

Adhere to medical policy and provide medically appropriate, high‑quality, cost‑effective service

Assess medical necessity of inpatient admissions, outpatient services, focused surgical and diagnostic procedures, out‑of‑network services and appropriateness of treatment setting by utilizing applicable medical policy and industry standards

Prior authorization screening under the guidance of US licensed health professionals

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months’ experience in prior authorization of healthcare benefits

Licensed therapist in the state of Texas

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

Hourly Salary Range (California): $26.39 to $72.31 Hourly Salary Range (Cleveland): $24.42 to $57.84 Hourly Salary Range (Colorado): $26.39 to $62.45 Hourly Salary Range (District of Columbia): $28.08 to $66.49 Hourly Salary Range (Illinois): $24.42 to $62.45 Hourly Salary Range (Maryland): $26.39 to $62.45 Hourly Salary Range (Massachusetts): $26.39 to $66.49 Hourly Salary Range (Minnesota): $26.39 to $62.45 Hourly Salary Range (New York/New Jersey): $24.42 to $72.31 Hourly Salary Range (Washington): $28.08 to $66.49
