Week Night On-Call Registered Nurse (RN). The Caris On Call Registered Nurse is normally scheduled to work on weekends and/or after hours on weekdays. The role includes nursing care of patients according to the physician's orders, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing plans.

Responsibilities
The RN is scheduled to make patient visits each week. They may resolve some issues by phone, but many after-hours or weekend calls will require a visit.
The RN must be available for work-related phone calls throughout scheduled “after hours” and weekend work hours, accepting calls unless currently assisting a patient or on a conversation with a patient/family.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of operation.
Nursing experience required, with preference for hospice or home health experience.
Must possess sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient family teaching.
