Dental Assistant (Willing to Train Medical Assistant, Surgical Tech, or Child Caregiver)
We are looking to hire a dental assistant for either part or full time. We also open to training a Medical Assistant, Surgical Tech, or Child Caregiver looking for a change. The candidate must be able to flex between working in the back office and assisting both the dentists and hygienists along with the front desk staff. The candidate must have a great personality, love working with children of all ages and their parents, and be a team player. Our practice is a fast-paced, growing pediatric dental office where patients are seen every half hour.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist and other clinical staff.
Support the hygienists and front desk staff.
Take initiative and adapt to varying duties.
Utilize digital imaging and charting; preference for medical or dental charting experience.
Flexibly perform back-office tasks as needed.
Hours Monday through Thursday 7:30 am–4 pm and Friday 8 am–3 pm.
Requirements
PA X‑ray license (will train to attain)
Must be able to pass a background check
Intermediate computer skills
Pediatric experience preferred
Hepatitis B vaccine
Job Type Full‑time, Part‑time
Pay & Benefits Pay is based on experience, starting at $18.00 per hour. Benefits available if eligibility is met, including excellent health benefits.
