In this role, you’ll help assist our veterinarians in delivering high‑quality medical care while ensuring a compassionate and efficient experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Perform technical tasks, including patient restraint, administering medications, collecting diagnostic samples (e.g., blood, urine, feces), taking radiographs and performing laboratory tests.
Triage incoming patients and provide initial assessments.
Monitor patients during treatment or recovery.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' care and treatment plans.
Keep the hospital environment neat and clean; perform regular cleaning daily.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or animal ER/urgent care setting is a plus.
Proficiency in technical skills such as restraint, sample collection, and patient monitoring.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for animals and a commitment to compassionate care.
Familiarity with veterinary practice management software is a plus.
Schedule
40 hours per week (4‑day work schedule / 10‑hr shifts)
Weekends and holidays may be required.
