Nocturnist Advanced Practice Clinician (NP) – Austin, TX – 57470BR
TeamHealth has a new nocturnist acute care nurse practitioner (NP) opening at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA that encompasses a total of 6 facilities throughout the greater Austin market. Board certified acute care NPs will only be considered as this is a requirement of the hospital system.
St. David’s Medical Center has 426 beds with an open ICU. At night there is 1 hospitalist and 1 NP working from 7p-7a. The daily census averages 20‑22 for the rounding physicians, 16 day admissions and 12‑14 admissions during the night shift. There is full specialty back‑up in place and the EMR used across all facilities in Meditech.
