at Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Marlborough, MA. Salary up to $35 per hour, paid weekly.

We are hiring a full‑time COTA. As a COTA, you will assist in the collection of assessment data, provide direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist, and participate in clinical program development.

Education & Experience

Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.

Required CEUs per state licensure requirements.

Current licensure by the applicable state agency.

Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred.

Newly licensed COTAs welcome to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform additional assigned administrative duties as assigned by the Rehab Program Manager.

Under a physician’s order, provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venues include individual, supervised, and group sessions.

Contribute to the team meeting and decision‑making process as defined by the program.

Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.

Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.

Document activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system in a timely manner.

Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

Participate in clinical program development and implementation.

Perform additional duties as requested by supervisor.

Participate in quality improvement activities.

Ensure service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to meet or exceed expectations.

Specific Requirements

Ability to function effectively in multi‑faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary.

Communication skills needed for directing staff, customer relations, marketing activities.

Ability to perform documentation, manipulate equipment, and provide direct patient care.

Requires intense attention and concentration.

Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others.

Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds.

Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language.
