Stavros is looking for a Project Manager for the new Wheelchair Repair Contract. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, or three to five years of Project Management experience, preferably in a non‑profit environment. Excellent communications, writing skills, and dedication to serving individuals with disabilities.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with contract terms, including securing and coordinating necessary resources.
Oversee all contract‑related activities and provide regular reports to EOHHS on program status and statistics.
Work closely with EOHHS, Stavros leadership, and other providers as needed.
Establish and monitor policies and procedures for effectiveness and implement necessary changes.
Manage all aspects of operation ensuring contract compliance.
Track performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency.
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and stay updated on the latest wheelchair technologies.
Work with finance to ensure correct data for invoicing and inventory.
Oversee development and delivery of training materials and training technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Supervise customer service, address consumer concerns, and ensure timely and effective repairs.
Coordinate repair schedules, manage inventory, deliver and repair wheelchairs, ensuring all equipment and tools are available and in good condition.
Represent Stavros professionally and advocate Independent Living philosophy.
Qualifications
5 years of management experience in a non‑profit organization with contract and staff responsibilities.
Project management experience including inventory, distribution, and customer service.
Excellent communication, documentation skills, and computer proficiency (MS Office).
Self‑organized, self‑motivated, and willing to travel occasionally within Massachusetts.
Familiarity or experience working with individuals with disabilities is helpful.
