Responsibilities This senior ED technician position is per‑diem and offers a convenient schedule. The role assists with direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, maintaining a prepared environment for patient care. The main duties include:
Provides supportive care to emergency department patients under direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
Takes, documents, and reports vital signs; reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
Transports patients to other departments or inpatient units as needed.
Assists with moving, ambulating, and lifting patients.

Qualifications
Current AEMT certification.
Current BLS certification.
Preferred one year experience in an acute care setting.
