Certified Yoga and/or Mat Pilates Instructor
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Certified Yoga and/or Mat Pilates Instructors to join our fitness team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in Yoga and/or Pilates and a commitment to promoting health and wellness through effective instruction. As a HYK instructor, you deliver a dynamic, safe, and empowering yoga experience for students of all backgrounds. You are more than a teacher, you are a guide, a motivator, and a representative of our mission. U.S. Oahu residents ONLY. Responsibilities include: Provide a welcoming front desk check-in process and guide students through HYK core values‑aligned classes. Teach a minimum of two (2) classes per week (minimum 3–4 hours in‑studio). Support each student’s fitness journey with education on alignment, modifications, and safety standards. Arrive 30 minutes before and stay 30 minutes after class to connect with students and support the community. Navigate check‑in, POS transactions, and front desk duties. Maintain studio cleanliness and uphold safety protocols. Contribute to a fun, supportive studio environment and act as an ambassador for HYK initiatives. Move comfortably in the studio, crouch, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs. Compensation: Starting at $30 per class, with opportunities to earn more based on experience, certifications, and community engagement. Plus hourly rate for other tasks. Qualifications: Certificate of completion from a 200‑hour yoga teacher training. Specializations in Original Hot Yoga (26+2), Hot Yoga Sculpt, and Yin Yoga are preferred. Certificate of completion of Mat Pilates or Hot Pilates and willingness to be trained in our own branded sequences. Current CPR/AED certification required. Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer applications and willingness to be trained if needed. Ability to lead students in physical activity for up to 1.5 hours. Ability to withstand exposure to heat of up to 104 degrees for a minimum of 60 minutes in heated classes. Preferable a minimum of 2 years of experience leading fitness classes. Looking for Part‑time and On‑Call Instructors. Certificate of Insurance (COI).
