Position Title Security Site Supervisor
Location Pataskala, OH (20‑25 minutes outside Downtown Columbus)
Shift 1st shift (flexibility may be required)
Position Summary Candidate must be a self‑starter with dedication to professionalism. A Security Site Supervisor will complete the duties of an officer as well as the responsibilities of a supervisor. These additional duties include managing the team, working with the client, interviewing potential new officers, training, and communicating any problems with operations. The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by monitoring and patrolling the premises. The Security Officer and Supervisor are tasked with preventing unauthorized access, detecting suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, security, and customer service.
Responsibilities Our Security Officers protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry. Our clients range from Class‑A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals and many others.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 25 years of age
Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required. We are happy to train those without experience in the industry.
Certifications: CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred).
Skills: Strong observational and problem‑solving skills; ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations; excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in using security systems, cameras, and basic office technology (e.g., email, Microsoft Office).
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods.
Driving Eligibility: Posts requiring operation of a company vehicle will only be permitted for those over the age of 25 with a screened motor vehicle record. Accidents and violations are reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
