We’re looking for a Senior Telecommunications BIM Designer to join our team and help deliver world-class designs for some of the most advanced facilities in the world. From semiconductor manufacturing to state-of-the-art research and industrial projects, you’ll play a key role in creating environments where technology thrives.

What You’ll Do:

Provide design, modeling, and documentation services for telecom systems on advanced facility projects.

Showcase your Revit expertise while adhering to Jacobs and client BIM standards.

Use Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to create and manage fully coordinated 3D BIM models across all design disciplines (C, S, A, M, E, P, T, I, L).

Produce 2D construction drawings and ensure clash‑free, constructible deliverables.

Collaborate closely with designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers to turn design intent into reality.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in telecommunications BIM design for complex facilities.

Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

High school graduate or equivalent

At least 8 years of BIM design experience

At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry

Understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions

Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function

Understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment

Experience following client design and modeling standards

Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests

Willingness to learn

Ideally, you’ll also have:

At least 6 years of Revit and/or AutoCAD design experience

Understanding of clean room and data center environments

Knowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio‑visual systems

Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed‑circuit television (CCTV)

Knowledge of control systems and network components and topology
