Job Description Summary The purpose of this job is to administer route management software by creating, updating, and revising routes; adding and maintaining user accounts; and performing daily verification to ensure route accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creates, updates, and revises routes within the route management software, with supervisor review and approval, to ensure alignment with operational needs.
Adds, updates, and deactivates user accounts as needed, ensuring appropriate access levels and system security.
Performs daily verification of routes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established standards.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic issues related to route discrepancies or user access within the system.
Collaborates with management to gather input and implement necessary route adjustments.
Maintains accurate records of all changes made within the software for auditing and reporting purposes.
Trains staff on the use of the route management software.
Provides paraprofessional support to management.
Stays informed of software updates or changes and applies best practices to optimize system performance.
Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No supervisory authority. Work requires providing guidance and training to others. This position may oversee work quality, training, instruction, and work assignments.
Human Collaboration and Job Impact
Work may require providing advice to others outside direct reporting relationships on specific problems or general policies. Contact may require the consideration of different points of view to reach agreement. Elements of persuasion may be necessary to gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas.

Fiscal Responsibility
Position has limited fiscal responsibility.
May assist in the collection of data in support of recommendations for departmental budget allocations. May monitor work unit or program/promotional level budget and expenditures.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
3 to 5 years’ experience with customer information systems or related software.
Licenses or Certifications
None.
Knowledge
Route management software.
GIS and mapping tools.
General office practices and administrative procedures, records management and administration techniques and procedures.
Common business software applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Skill
Typing and/or data entry with minimal errors.
Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Communicating verbally and in writing to meet the needs of the audience.
Applying active listening and asking questions for understanding.
Organizing and managing time effectively.
Ability
Analyze and interpret route data.
Recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Work independently.
Provide high levels of effective customer service.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Salary: $20.64/hr – $25.39/hr; Commensurate w/Training & Experience.
