API Automation Test Lead Infosys is seeking an

API Automation Test Lead . In this role you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert, reviewing the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design, and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will collaborate with top talent to create zero‑touch automation and defect‑free solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. Responsibilities The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face‑to‑face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.

4+ years of Information Technology experience.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or Pennington, NJ, or be willing to relocate to these areas.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience in Automation Testing (SIT and UAT), test execution analysis & reporting.

At least 4 years of experience using any programming language such as Java.

Strong understanding of testing processes and the testing life‑cycle.

Proven hands‑on experience with test automation tools (Postman, Parasoft SOATest, Rest Assured framework using Java, Cucumber, SQL or Karate Test Automation Framework).

Experience with tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, IntelliJ, GitHub and Eclipse.

Deep knowledge of test automation and UI/Backend automation concepts.

Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently, take ownership and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Experience in test deliveries in an onsite‑offshore model and in creating Automation Test Strategy and Test Plan.

Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Ability to support SIT testing and liaise with business teams.

Good knowledge of Financial Services domain and business functional processes.

Skill in test strategizing, planning and coordination.

Ability to contribute to in‑depth technical content for test automation proposals.

Translate user requirements and application features into testing requirements.

Teamwork and client‑interfacing skills.

Compensation & Benefits For candidates based out of Pennington, NJ, estimated annual compensation will be $64,464 to $96,489.
