Champion Window - Project/Production Manager (In‑Training)

As a Project/Production Manager (In‑Training), you will

lead, monitor, coach and hold accountable

a division team comprising Installation Supervisors, Service/Measure Technicians, Production Specialists, Employee and Subcontractor Installers to achieve operational goals in our core exterior home improvement products (windows, sunrooms, doors, siding). The role may include early start times and Saturday work.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage key business reports, dashboards, and KPIs, including uninstall reporting, AR, WIP, COGs, service reporting, stage payments, and cycle times.

Execute and maintain company policies and procedures.

Proactively manage customer satisfaction, resolve concerns, and provide regular updates; respond within 24 hours to customer inquiries, emails, and phone calls.

Visit customers filing quality complaints and resolve issues with regional management input.

Manage COGs, inventory, accruals, job costing, invoicing, and big‑box store purchases; verify labor and material costs to meet profitability expectations.

Coach and foster teamwork, accountability, and trust; build collaboration across operations, sales, and centralized teams.

Recognize employee excellence, celebrate achievements, identify underperformers and implement training.

Oversee division capacity, forecasting, revenue, and service; ensure staffing and training to meet measurements, installation, and service objectives.

Accurate forecasting through timely ordering, scheduling, updating system information, managing warehouse inventory, and factory expected ship dates.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

2‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction/remodeling.

Ability to supervise and train others and create/organize schedules.

Creative and practical problem‑solving/critical‑thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Computer proficiency (MS Office 365).

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
