Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2nd shift
Pay Range (based on experience and qualifications):
$55,000 - $70,000 including shift premium $60,500 - $77,000

Position Summary The Production Supervisor - Large Batch is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing functions to ensure customer satisfaction in both quality of product and on‑time delivery while maintaining company standards as relates to safety, cost control, and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Organize and schedule daily production activities for the department.
Assign work tasks to department operators and ensure timely completion.
Collaborate with the Production Manager to control costs related to repairs, operating supplies, waste, and labor.
Train new operators on departmental processes and procedures.
Conduct ongoing training for existing employees to support growth and compliance with safety regulations.
Promote and enforce safety rules, coach employees on safe work practices, and report any violations.
Lead safety and housekeeping initiatives across the department.
Monitor product quality to ensure adherence to company standards.
Utilize the Business Operating System to record operations, material usage, and related transactions.
Interview, hire, and terminate employees as needed.
Conduct semi‑annual performance reviews for team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
Preferred education level: Associate's or two‑year college degree or equivalent.
Preferred experience level: Two to four years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemicals or coatings.
Skills and Abilities
Prior supervisory experience is helpful but not required.
Forklift certification is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to core values: Integrity, Loyalty, Passion, Commitment, and Respect.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP systems, and general office equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements Physical Demands
Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly in a manufacturing or operational setting.
Frequently required to stand, walk, and move throughout the work area.
Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, manipulate, and control objects, tools, or equipment.
Required to sit, balance, stoop, and occasionally reach above shoulder level.
Occasional operation of machinery using foot controls
May be required to climb, balance, and reach overhead as part of job duties.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 65 lbs. and occasionally up to 100lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Safety shoes, safety glasses, and flame‑retardant uniforms or lab coats are required in production areas.
Respirators and ear plugs are required for specific production processes.
