CORE – Clinician/Supervisor
Wisconsin Community Services, Inc. is hiring a CORE Clinician/Supervisor to provide direct supervision and clinical services to individuals served by the CORE program in Milwaukee.

Job Summary The role focuses on overseeing CORE staff to ensure comprehensive services and delivering direct clinical care, with responsibilities equally split between supervisory and clinical duties.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise the CORE team, ensuring services are coordinated to meet identified needs.
Interview, hire, evaluate, manage, and train assigned CORE staff.
Monitor and approve all documentation (provider notes, treatment plans, crisis plans, incident reports, etc.) for accuracy and timely completion.
Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, including weekly productivity, DHS 36 audits, program evaluations, and policies.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration with all system partners.
Conduct weekly CORE team meetings and individual supervision sessions with each staff member.
Maintain accurate case files per agency policy and government regulations, including documentation in AvatarNX.
Promote a strengths‑based, person‑centered, culturally intelligent, and recovery‑focused philosophy of service.
Provide direct clinical services to all CORE individuals in home, community or office settings.
Ensure fidelity to treatment protocols and evidence‑based practices.
Enter timely clinical documentation directly into AvatarNX.
Participate in CORE consultations with WCS’ designated CORE Mental Health Professional and Milwaukee County’s clinical representative.
Provide coverage for Care Coordination staff duties when needed.
Job Qualifications
Master’s Degree and licensure as an Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor (In‑Training or Licensed).
Two years of experience serving youth or young adults with mental health and co‑occurring needs.
One year of supervisory experience (preferred).
Valid driver’s license, automobile, and insurance sufficient to meet agency requirements.
Meet all pre‑employment requirements: references, criminal background check, drug test, and driver’s license check.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Effective communication with a diverse population, supervisors, colleagues, and program partners.
Technological aptitude: proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Excel, Teams, AvatarNX.
Managing priorities and deadlines while handling multiple projects.
Problem‑solving, critical thinking, and solution orientation in a fast‑paced environment.
Adaptability and ability to manage change independently or as part of a team.
Teamwork and professionalism with integrity, ethics, and boundaries.
Multicultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills while representing the organization.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Work is performed in an office and community settings, including traveling to client homes. Must be able to move up and down stairs and handle physical demands of working with youth. A flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of staff and clients.
