Vice President of Recruitment at Solomon Page
Our client, a global beauty company, is looking for a Commercial Planning Manager to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Hudson Yards. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, have excellent interpersonal skills, and possess strong knowledge of retail planning & forecasting. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub‑contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview
Contract Role: 5 months
Pay: $50‑59/hr on W2
Schedule: Hybrid, standard 40‑hour work week
Responsibilities
Collect and consolidate current month and quarter gross‑to‑net projections
Report current month and quarter net sales to leadership highlighting any variance, risk, and opportunities
Actualize retail and net sales by account
Review year‑to‑go retail and net sales projections
Build and improve planning modules for sales, trends, and budgeting purposes
Manage and lead recurring meetings with the sales team
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a business concentration
3‑5+ years of sales/demand planning experience
Knowledge of retail math (customer margin, stock in trade, week of supply, etc.)
Prior experience working in the fashion, beauty industry, or consumer products industry is required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Power BI experience
