About The Role Under the direction of the Assistant Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Control Lead is responsible for all inventory control and cycle counting functions. The Lead is also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are in effect, ensuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

What You'll Do

Receive and record new inventory as it is delivered; inspect and store it according to policy.

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic physical inventory counts.

Perform scheduled and periodic inventory counts.

Research and explain variances discovered during scheduled and periodic inventory counts.

Consistently maintain accurate inventories of raw materials and components.

Assure accurate picking and staging of raw materials and components for production in a timely manner to avoid manufacturing delays and complete returns from the processing areas.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedule for forklifts and pallet jacks.

Complete documentation of inventory operations where required by Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and file accordingly.

Monitor/track/report on workload, schedules, reliability, compliance, and training issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

1 – 3 years of warehousing experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Ability to anticipate and solve problems.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, and bend within a manufacturing environment.
