The Gartner Executive Partner for Chief HR Officers team works closely with senior HR leaders to assess change, achieve goals more quickly, and deliver higher assurance of success.
About this role You will partner with Chief HR Officers (CHROs) and senior HR leaders from diverse industries to deliver solutions for the most complex talent and workforce challenges. You will bring executive advisory services, develop strategy, design operating models, and coach clients in people, learning & development, and diversity & inclusion initiatives. Working collaboratively with Client Support Professionals and Account Executives, you will play a key role throughout the member lifecycle—from pre‑sale to renewal—ensuring retention and driving account growth.
What You’ll Do
Provide executive advisory services to CHRO members across all industries.
Synthesize Gartner insights and data to deliver world‑class advisory support through bi‑weekly engagement and periodic working sessions.
Host, facilitate, and/or participate in member activities, including strategy sessions, peer roundtables, and virtual webinars.
Define and deliver innovative solutions by assessing member needs and creating customized value plans aligned with our Executive Program strategy.
Facilitate member interaction and peer collaboration through the Gartner for CHRO member community portal.
Work as a collaborative Gartner team member, serving members together with Client Support Professionals and Account Executives.
Participate in all phases of the member lifecycle: pre‑sale, onboarding, relationship management, delivery, review, and renewal.
Support member retention and contribute to account growth through direct support of Gartner Sales in account plan development and value demonstration activities.
What You’ll Need
Executive Partner who has operated at a senior leadership level and driven change across an organization, working with the C‑suite, Board, and SMEs.
At least 5+ years as a CHRO (or the top HR role) and 15+ years overall HR experience.
In‑depth understanding of the HR function, CHRO responsibilities, and how HR strategy aligns with business objectives.
Technologically savvy, self‑motivated to handle administrative tasks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word – to adapt client‑ready materials.
Consulting background is a plus. Prior Gartner/CEB experience is preferred.

Location & Eligibility Seeking candidates based in the Western United States within the Pacific or Mountain time zones.
What We Offer Our base salary range for this role is USD 188,000 – 225,000. Compensation may also include an annual bonus or a role‑based uncapped sales incentive. We offer generous paid time off, a 401(k) match up to USD 7,200 per year, a discount on company stock, and a full suite of benefits.
