Mental Health Therapist
Position: Full Time
Location: Victor, NY (Monte Nido Western NY)
Base Pay Range $60,405 / yr – $85,000 / yr
Monte Nido Western NY is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Our approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, implementing healthy eating and exercise routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and fostering motivation and treatment engagement. We aim to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating/exercise disorder and its impact, and develop a personalized plan for recovery.
Responsibilities
Providing individual, group, and family therapy
Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
Providing therapeutic meal support and modeling a healthy relationship with food
Offering safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client based on intersecting identities
Qualifications
Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
