Our offerings include High‑Risk Pregnancy Care, Level III NICU, 24‑hour OB Hospitalists, partnership with the Neonatology Team at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Midwifery Services, childbirth and family education classes, breastfeeding support with certified lactation consultants, Frenotomy and treatment options for babies with tongue‑tie, VBAC, water birth, pelvic physical therapy program, and doulas to provide physical and emotional support to pregnant women before and after childbirth.
Essential Job Functions
Conduct Maternal‑Fetal Assessment.
Provide nursing support to laboring patients, utilizing pharmacological and non‑pharmacological pain management.
Provide stabilization and transition of the normal newborn at delivery.
Circulate and scrub for Cesarean Sections.
Care for the post‑surgical patient.
Assist the anesthesiologist with insertion of an epidural and provide care to the patient with regional anesthesia.
Provide care to the High‑Risk maternity patient.
Job Requirements Education / Work Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Possession of a BSN degree is preferred.
Previous recent Labor and Delivery experience is preferred, or
1‑2 years Med/Surg experience, or new graduate with completion of senior practicum in L&D, Mother/Baby unit or nursery.
Licensure / Certification
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Current Healthcare BLS Certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) completion within 6 months of hire date. Electronic Fetal Monitoring offered by National Certification Corporation (NCC), or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification preferred.
Sign‑On Bonus Available Sign‑on bonus may be offered to qualified candidates.
Pay Range $47.86 – $79.78 per hour.
