Entry Phlebotomist I Location: 15201 N. Cleveland Ave., North Fort Myers, FL 33903

Duration: 4 Months

Shift: Day/Eastern Monday thru Friday 6AM-3PM with rotational Saturday 6AM-10AM

Job Description The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine and for insights into life‑defining health decisions. The ENTRY PSR I greets patients upon arrival and answers any questions or concerns with care and compassion. The individual also helps maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assists with breaks when other phlebotomists are unavailable. This role includes training on phlebotomy skills for future growth within the company.

The ENTRY PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining what to expect regarding the scheduled procedures in a safe and accurate manner. The ENTRY PSR I demonstrates excellence in customer care, focusing on process skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe and professional environment.

Maintain required records and documentation.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.

Show willingness to learn new skills.

Job Requirements

Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check‑ins in the lobby via self‑service kiosk or handheld tablet.

Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills during downtime or when breaks need to be covered.

Once phlebotomy skills are obtained, perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.

High level of customer service experience/skills is required.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

Minimum of 1‑2 years of client‑facing customer service (e.g., retail, home health aide). Required.

Prior phlebotomy experience is not required.

Keyboard or data‑entry experience a must.

This is an entry position into phlebotomy. Candidates must be willing to learn this skill. Those who only want a front‑desk or greeter position and are not willing to learn phlebotomy should not apply.

Additional Job Details Candidate must have reliable transportation to get to and from the worksite without issue (bus, Uber, rideshare is not reliable). Must be available to work whenever scheduled, be on time, and stay for the entire shift. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness is not tolerated and may result in termination.

Verify commute time to/from the physical work location. Candidates should be within a 20‑25 minute commute window to ensure ability to travel for coverage.

This is a "Front of House" role that will also train the candidate on phlebotomy skills. If a candidate is not willing to learn or perform phlebotomy, do not submit them.
