Resident Care Associate (CNA) – The Bungalows At Mayfield Shift Details:

Mon‑Fri; Every other weekend required

Reports to:

Family Experience Director, Pearl Director, or Assistant Family Experience Director

Purpose:

Provide highest degree of quality care and services to residents and families in assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Deliver hands‑on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP), maintain safe, comfortable home‑like environment, and adhere to federal, state, and local standards and Phoenix policies.

Responsibilities

Participate in development and update of Personalized Service Plans; attend plan review meetings with families as requested.

Follow hydration schedules for residents during shift.

Complete resident meal attendance sheets; provide room service or account for residents who have not dined in the dining room.

Know and enforce all resident rights.

Initiate, assign, and assist with activities as appropriate.

Check assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition.

Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.

Inspect assigned resident rooms daily for cleanliness and neatness; double‑check high‑risk rooms.

Assist in inspecting laundry rooms, common areas, including bathrooms, for cleanliness and hazardous chemicals; take appropriate action (contact housekeeping, clean, secure chemicals).

Complete all ADLs for assigned residents according to their PSP.

Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly; reset call bells as needed.

Qualifications

High school education preferred and may be required by the state.

Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care aspects of the role.

Knowledge and experience in assisted living, dementia care or skilled nursing preferred.

Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours; available during peak service delivery times.

Compensation:

12‑14 Hourly Wage
