Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
Effective oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
Ability to handle stressful situations
Desired Qualifications
1 year of retail pharmacy experience
Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
Accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling
Vaccination administration as needed
Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA
Professional appearance, conduct, and adherence to pharmacy standards
In-depth knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competition
Strong service orientation, friendliness, and cooperation with customers and associates
Management of inventory, stock replenishment, returns, budgets, and reports
Control of scheduled drugs (e.g., controlled substances) and accurate record‑keeping
Proper operation and maintenance of pharmacy equipment and technology
Adherence to all policy manuals, reference books, and state laws
Accurate signage and store displays
Continuous learning and skill development in pharmacy
Effective teamwork in a high‑paced environment
Conflict resolution and honest handling of sensitive information
Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
Support for minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
