Base pay range $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr
About the Program The Novice Nurse Training Program at Maxim Healthcare Services is designed to provide a unique training opportunity for new graduate RNs, and those with less than one year of experience. You will partner with an experienced Maxim nurse who will provide real-time feedback, training opportunities, and mentorship. Within this program, you will be gaining hands‑on experience by working one‑on‑one with a patient in the home setting. You will learn direct patient care, care management, vent/trach/g‑tube management, and critical thinking skills with 24/7 support from the clinical supervising team.

Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or contracted services
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor and document effectiveness of intervention and progress toward established goals
Intervene as applicable to changes in condition and report such changes to the appropriate supervisor and/or physician
Document all physician collaboration/coordination of care in the medical record and communicate this information as needed
Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment including universal precautions
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Active RN License
Current CPR certification
PPD or chest X‑ray if applicable
