Travel Med Surg RN Assignment Duration: This is a 13‑week contract position.
Schedule: Days, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Floating occasionally required to help in critical care with low acuity patients.
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality patient care in a med‑surg and step‑down setting. The role involves managing a mix of patients across both care levels, ensuring effective and compassionate support throughout their recovery process.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to med‑surg and step‑down patients.
Monitor patient health and coordinate with healthcare professionals.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Support patients and their families with education about their health conditions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
1+ year of registered nursing experience.
1 year of PCU/Stepdown and Med Surg experience preferred.
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Patient Ratios: Typical patient ratios are 1:4‑6, depending on acuity.
