Work Experience Required – 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
ICU Experience, EPIC documentation.
Certifications Required:
Current RN License in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification - 12 month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute
SCRN Cert
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Demonstrated good judgement.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Job Duties Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care.
