Med Tech Responsibilities Include
You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed.
You will provide patients’ personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; aiding travel to the bathroom and helping with showers and baths.
You will assist with activities of daily living by serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients, and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
You will maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.
Qualifications
Must be licensed in NC as a Med Tech and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
