Base Pay Range $32.00/hr – $36.00/hr
This opening is scheduled Monday – Friday; 3:00pm – 11:30pm; plus regular overtime weekly!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.
Plays a role requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
Informs appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
Maintains company‑required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
Assists and trains other maintenance and/or other technical level employees.
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and understand ladder‑logic diagram for troubleshooting purposes.
Positive working attitude in a high‑paced environment.
Maintains workspace and inventory in a neat and organized fashion.

Lift, push, pull, move up to 50 pounds frequently.

Close vision (sharp vision at 20 inches or less).
Distance vision (sharp vision at 20 feet or more).
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
Depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
Education, Experience, and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Journeyman status through an accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field is required.
5‑10 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields; ability to demonstrate high proficiency.
Experience and ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
Certifications: Journeyman or Master Electrician.
Additional Skills Required
Computer skills – computer operation and PLC programming helpful.
Communication – speak effectively with fellow employees; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Mathematical skills – apply addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic algebra.
Detail oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines while performing multiple duties; solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and ladder logic prints; make changes to prints if changes are made.
You Should Be Proficient In
Equipment troubleshooting.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Forklift licensed.
High School / GED.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills.
