Position Highlights
Position: Patient Care Technician – Central Resource Team
Location: Edward Hospital
Full Time: 36 hour work week
Hours: Night Shift: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am; rotating holidays/weekends
What You Will Do The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and, according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.
What You Will Need
Education: N/A
Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent; or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
Successful completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by the department.
Unique or Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, and ability to receive and follow through on directions.
