Responsibilities
Answer calls and triage them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
Schedule appointments, surgeries, and ancillary services, and obtain authorizations.
Perform insurance verification functions.
Process and track all incoming and outgoing referrals.
Sort and deposit mail and patient information in compliance with HIPAA.
Assist in various work assignments as needed.
Qualifications
High‑school diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with insurance companies and obtaining authorizations.
